Why I like it: This is one of my favourite all time wines. Something really special. This Pedro Xiemenez was planted right out the front of the Wynns winery [it is the vineyard depicted on the Wynns label] in either 1913 or 1917. No one is sure. It could well be the oldest Pedro vineyard in the world. Its a fortified wine based on a solera system featuring about 4 vintages. A bowl of Pistachios and this, on a Friday night watching the footy. 10 out of 10!
