Why I like it: First made in 1955 by David Wynn and named after his son Michael. It disappeared for decades and came back in the 1990 vintage. Isn't made very year, so when it is you know it must be good. Matured in a combination of new and seasoned French oak and from a stand out vintage, this is one for the cellar. Possibly one of the best vintages of this iconic wine since the first in 1955 - which is still considered one of the best wines made in Australia
