Why I like it: First made in 1955 by David Wynn and named after his son Michael. It disappeared for decades and came back in the 1990 vintage. Isn't made very year, so when it is you know it must be good. 2016 was a 9/10 vintage for shiraz and having retried this wine again a few weeks back, it has ages to go. A real classic.
