Rambles Wines brings you The Ramble Red III
Born from the weekly SEN wine [and a little footy] ramblings of Garry Lyon, Tim Watson and George Samios, Ramble Red III once again brings together friendship, footy and great wine.
This time the ramble moves to the Barossa Valley, bringing together two great Barossa Valley vineyards - an old shiraz vineyard planted in the foothills of the Eden Valley, near the historic township of the Angaston and a special montepulciano vineyard from the Moculta sub region.
The shiraz brings the richness and generosity, while the montepulciano adds fragrance, elegance and a little Italian flair. Together they make a beautifully aromatic, silky-smooth red that’s dangerously easy to drink. Crafted by Saltram’s winemaker Richard Mattner – George made a Kane Corne type claim saying this was the best Ramble Red yet!
Made in very limited quantities, Ramble Red III won’t be hanging around for long.
Built for conversation. Best enjoyed with mates, something off the grill, and a story that gets better - and slightly less accurate - with every glass.
The last two Rambles didn’t hang around. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
