Why I like it: Fiano is on the move. Its being planted more and more, especially as an alternative as our climate changes. Originally from Campagna in the southern part of Italy, the variety is highly aromatic and produces wine with awesome acidity and pear/scorched almond flavours. This one from the Barossa Valley is wonderful, unoaked. Flavour and texture without oak. I'll drink to that.
