Why I like it: Malbec originated in southwest France (particularly Cahors) before achieving global fame in Argentina. It’s a naturally deep-coloured grape capable of rich fruit expression and structured tannins. WA’s maritime influence and varied soils allow Malbec to ripen fully while maintaining balance and freshness. The result is power without heaviness.

Dark plum, blackberry and subtle mocha notes with generous texture and smooth tannins. It’s bold yet polished - ideal for grilled meats and richer dishes. A confident alternative to Shiraz or Cabernet. Gold Medal winner!
